MEET DR. ELFMAN

Dr. Elfman is a dual-trained specialist with specialty certifications in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. He received his degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has been practicing Orthodontics for over 20 years and has extensive experience in all phases of Orthodontics, including Adult Orthodontics. He was a faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics at The University of Pennsylvania and is on staff at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Albert Einstein Hospital. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association.

Dr. Elfman is very involved in his community and often participates in several community events, including the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days, Ride for a Cure, Alicia Rose Foundation, Walk Against Breast Cancer, holiday food drives, Give Kids a Smile and Support the Troops.

Dr. Elfman resides in the community and is married with two children. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys tennis, basketball and golf.

OUR STAFF

We have a wonderful, friendly and highly trained staff! The clinical staff of the office has passed rigid requirements and examinations dictated by the State of New Jersey and are licensed and certified in expanded functions. The office is committed to utilizing the latest and most current techniques and equipment. We adhere to stringent national standards for heat sterilization and for disinfecting surfaces between patient visits. Dr. Elfman and his staff attend numerous continuing education classes throughout the year.

Jeanine A. Office Manager Jeanine graduated from Northeastern University and Tufts Dental School’s Dental Assistant Program as a CDA in 1978. After graduation, her career started in NYC, working for "World Trade Center Dental.” After many years at home raising her children, "returning to work for someone like Dr. Elfman has been such a pleasure." She has 20+ years of dental experience. “Creating great smiles in a friendly, professional office is what we all try to achieve, and I think we do just that!” Jeanine loves traveling with her family, skiing and spending her summers on LBI. She and her husband, Rick, have three children (Kyle, Tara and Chad) and live in Voorhees.
Lynda H. Administrative Staff Front Desk Supervisor Lynda has 15+ years of dental administration experience. One of Lynda's many jobs is to see that the front desk runs smoothly. She, along with her staff, goes out of their way to help our patients feel welcome. When Lynda isn't entertaining you with her chit-chat, she can schedule your next appointment or answer any of your financial or insurance questions. Her friendly, outgoing personality is a favorite of many patients. What Lynda loves most about her job is “having a great boss and co-workers, and getting to meet new people every day.” She and her husband, Pat, have two children (Michael and Patrick) and live in Erial.
Kimmy M. Patient Coordinator Kimmy has several years of experience in the orthodontic field, as well as her NJ Radiology License. She is currently obtaining her bachelors degree in Business Marketing with Strayer University. She will be over seeing marketing projects and patient relations for the office. You will find Kimmy having lots of fun with our patients by making arts and crafts or doing exciting games in the office. Her always smiling face is a perfect addition to our staff!
Jennifer C. Administrative Staff Jennifer is one of the bright smiley faces at the front desk. We are so happy she decided to join our staff. When Jen is not working she loves spending time with her husband and their German Shepherd. Jen loves working at Elfman Orthodontics because “The staff is so friendly and always smiling, and we all work so well as a team”.
Dorie M. Administrative Staff Dorie is another one of the smiling faces you'll see at our front desk. We are happy to have her join our fun family here at Elfman Orthontics. In her spare time she loves to travel and spend time with her family and is also an animal lover. Dorie has two sons named Ryan and Joey and lives in Atco. Dorie is excited to watch and learn how beautiful smiles are made here.
Kelly Z. Lab and Sterilization Technician Kelly adds a great deal to our team. She is our sterilization technician has her license in radiology from the State of New Jersey, is CPR certified and is currently attending Camden County College for her certification in Dental Assisting. She prepares models, takes X-rays, duplicates X-rays and does an outstanding job keeping the sterilization and treatment area in tip-top shape. She makes sure each and every instrument is properly sterilized according to stringent national standards. She works diligently to keep our lab sparkling clean and well organized. Her everyday duties help all of us tremendously. We truly appreciate all she does and would be lost without her! She has been with us since 1998. She lives in Washington Township with her three children.
Desirea M. CDA, RDA Orthodontic Assistant Desirea graduated from Camden County Technical Institute in 2004. She is CDA RDA and has her license is Radiology from the State of NJ. And is CPR certified. She currently lives in Bellmawr NJ. She loves working in the Orthodontic field because she gets to work one on one with the patients.
Lianne K. CDA, RDA Orthodontic Assistant Lianne graduated from Atlantic County Institute of Technology for dental assisting. She has earned her R.D.A. and C.D.A. credentials, as well as a New Jersey radiology license. She also has a CPR certification. Lianne loves orthodontic assisting as she enjoys working with the patients, and is thrilled with the changes that braces make in a person’s smile, appearance and outlook on life. In her spare time, she enjoys babysitting, yoga and spending time with her family. We are very excited to have Lianne on our team with her bright and cheerful personality.
Sherry Q. RDA Orthodontic Assistant Sherry graduated from Camden County Technical Institute in 1997. Sherry had her orthodontic treatment done by Dr Elfman years ago and loved the experience so much she decided to become an assistant! In her free time Sherry enjoys shopping and loves animals. She grew up in Gibbsboro, where she still lives and is the youngest of 8 children …wow!
Melissa S. CDA, RDA Orthodontic Assistant Melissa is a graduate of Camden County Technical Institute. Her pleasant personality and cute smile are sure to make you feel welcome. Some of her favorite things to do when not working is shopping and traveling. Melissa loves working in Ortho because she enjoys getting to know her patients and watching beautiful smiles happen!
Amy W. CDA, RDA, COA Orthodontic Assistant Amy has been working in the orthodontic field since 1999 when she moved here from California. She is happily married and has a daughter named Taylor. Amy loves orthodontic assisting! She enjoys working with patients, is thrilled with the changes that braces make in a person’s smile, appearance and outlook on life. In her spare time Amy enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach. We are happy to have Amy join our wonderful family.
